Origin of human beings on earth from swans and birds, primitive humans were born. Baba Pilchu Hadam, Pilchu Budhi Ayo were born from them and starting the story of creation of humans, Hasda, Soren, Besra, Murmu, Kisku, Baske, Tudu, Marandi, Hembrom, Chonde, Pawaria etc. are their sons who are our parish (gotra) today. We Santhal tribals are spread in every corner of the world. We Santhal tribals are worshippers of nature. We worship mountains, trees, rivers, streams as God. We worship Marang Buru, Lugu Baba, Ghantabari, Singbonga, Chando Bonga, Jahar Ayo, Manjhithan. These are our gods and goddesses. We worship ourselves or through the chieftains of our villages. The Santhal tribal community is the third largest tribe of India and the largest tribe of eastern India. It lives in Jharkhand, West Bengal, Orissa, Assam, Bihar, Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh. It lives in Dumka, Sahebganj, Godda, Deoghar, Pakur, Jamtara, Dhanbad, Bokaro, Giridih, Ramgarh, Hazaribagh, Koderma, West Singhbhum, East Singhbhum, Chaibasa, Seraikela, Kharsawan and Kolhan districts of Jharkhand.
